Reviving The Old-Fashioned 'Thank You Card'
I recently completed an 8-week course in Product Management at Product School in San Francisco. As part of the course, I selected a product (Evite) and iterated on my business idea each week. My idea was to increase revenue by $2 million/year through enhancing an existing feature and ultimately reviving the positive sentiments associated with the old-fashioned 'Thank You Card.'

Journey Mapping
Long story short, a friend of a friend owns a safari tourism company owned and operated by a Kenyan living in Washington State. My friend expressed to me that there is a discrepancy between how extraordinary this company is compared to its ordinary website. In a sea of false pretense in the travel industry, this company is the real deal, so I decided to help by creating a Journey Map of the safari planning experience. My goal is to elevate the positive experiences that people have had with this company in the digital experience.

Product Roadmap
I believe in Airbnb because it has something that a traditional hotel doesn't have - the potential for a culturally rich experience with every stay. The only thing closer to culture than language is food. I truly believe that when people of different cultures, socio-economic statuses, and religions eat a meal together, trust is formed. In just one meal, stereotypes, prejudices, and dogmatic beliefs melt away to make the world a better place. I have a plan to weave culturally-sensitive meals into Airbnb's business plan and ensure Airbnb scales up without losing its potential for a culturally rich experience at every stay.
